Okay, it’s wrong to damage other people’s private property, even if displaying said property is basically a hate crime at this point.
So I don’t condone this. Not one bit. That said, I may contact this museum to see if I can trade them for the Trump statue I’ve been making out of donated cat earwax for the past four years. Granted, it’s just a homogenous heap of undifferentiated goo, but then so is Trump.
So, again, if you see a wax Trump statue in a wax museum, don’t punch it. It’s illegal and wrong. But you can laugh at this shit. In fact, it’s pretty much a moral imperative.
The Hill:
A wax museum in downtown San Antonio, Texas, removed its wax statue of former President Trump after it was repeatedly vandalized, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Louis Tussaud's Waxworks pulled the figure from public view after it sustained multiple beatings and transferred it into storage.
The scratches on the Trump figure's face were especially damaging, said Clay Stewart, the regional manager of parent company Ripley's Entertainment.
For some reason this reminds me of The Picture of Dorian Gray. There’s now a statue hidden in a closet that bears all the conspicuous marks of Trump’s unpopularity. Meanwhile, his ambulant carbon-based corpse just keeps shuffling along.
And, hey, if you do want a Trump punching bag, well, this is pretty close.
