To answer the title’s question, we shouldn’t, and I certainly do not. My name is Chance Trevillian, I’ve got strong and solid democratic values, and I am running for Virginia’s 16th House of Delegates seat! As I mentioned, I do not let life’s circumstances get in my way, not anymore anyways. During my twenties, I let life’s circumstances derail a degree in elementary education that I was seeking. My mother had recently lost her job, we were limited in resources, and I let the stress of all of the school work get the best of me. It was not a great time.
But that was a few years ago, and I am now running in VA HD 16 so I can better the lives of all Virginians. I am working hard and staying focused, so I can give my opponent a good challenge. I’m in a deep red district here in Virginia, so it’s not going to be an easy race. However, I am more than ready to put in the hard work to win. Even with my disability, CMT Charcot Marie Tooth, I am determined to win this race, so I can improve the lives of all Virginians. That way, there’ll be fewer difficult circumstances for Virginians to have to overcome and it will make it easier for Virginians to get resources and assistance to help them overcome their own life circumstances. Here is my Facebook, my Twitter, and I could use any follows and any assistance anyone can help with! So thanks!
But to reiterate, district 16 is a deep red district. While I’m dedicated to winning it, there are races that you should also know about! One of which is Virginia’s 84th House Delegate seat where there is currently a democratic primary between lifelong democrat, Tracie Liguid, and a democrat who has spent her whole life as a republican and recently became a democrat. I’ve recently endorsed Tracie on my twitter, and others have written extensively about why you should get involved and support her in her race too! Below, I’ll link three tweets with articles detailing the primary race below!
And here’s another Daily Kos piece that has some more information on the primary as well!

I’m new to this whole campaigning thing, so my current campaign manager is my adorable cat, Curly! Here’s a pic of her being curious and looking up at me! She and I appreciate any support and assistance you can provide! And again, you can find me on Facebook and Twitter! Thanks!
