It’s time to boycott Florida. Do NOT vacation in Florida.

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday morning signed into law a controversial voting bill aimed at curbing access to mail-in voting in the state, joining a host of other GOP-led states pushing new limits in connection with former President Donald Trump's baseless claims of fraud in the 2020 election.
In signing the bill during an appearance on "Fox & Friends," the Florida Republican highlighted provisions of the bill including stricter voter ID requirements for voting by mail, creating limits on who can pick up and return a voter's ballot, and banning private funding for elections.
Governor DeSantis was too ashamed to invite the serious media to witness the Jim Crow bill signing.
Never mind that DeSantis broke Florida’s open meetings law so he could give FOX Noise an exclusive.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Local reporters were barred on Thursday from witnessing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s signing of a controversial elections bill, sparking outrage from journalists and critics of the Republican governor.
Journalists gathered outside the Hilton Airport Hotel in West Palm Beach, Fla., early Thursday morning to cover the governor’s signing of Senate Bill 90, a sweeping election-related measure that, among other things, creates ID requirements for mail-in voting and restricts the use of ballot drop boxes.
But multiple reporters claimed that they were barred from entering the event, while Fox News would be allowed to cover the bill signing as an “exclusive.”
Florida Republicans have nothing but contempt for democratic principals, and open government.
