There’s been a fair bit of bad news lately, so I thought I’d share something fun this week. Here are a few comics to check out if you’ve never read them before, or to reread if you have!
Peanuts
You can’t go wrong with this classic! Often more sweet than silly, with familiar characters you know and love.

NASA roboticist and programmer Randall Monroe might be considered The Godfather of webcomics — not the first, but one of if not the best. His simple stick figure drawings are a delight, and “Click and Drag” was positively revolutionary.
Set aside several minutes to explore "Click and Drag", and enjoy these two classics:

Not a pure comic, rather a comic-illustrated blog, Allie Brosh captures mental health struggles in a way that is both truthful and hilarious. If you’ve never read her work, start with

The Oatmeal
You may recognize Matthew Inman’s illustrations from the card game Exploding Kittens. But did you know that he also draws hilarious cartoons about cats?
But he’s also hilarious about other topics.
Strange Planet
Nathan W Pyle holds up a mirror to everyday existence, and the results could tickle even the grumpiest of funny bones.
Calvin and Hobbes
Bill Watterson created the best comic in the world and history. I will accept no discussion on this point.
