Left of the dial. An ode for college radio and independent weekly papers. That was where you’d hear the Replacements during the 80s. Tim has made some ‘best of’ lists. It’s inconsistent but has some great songs IMO. The linked thread about the Spin ‘best of’ list is pretty entertaining if you’re so inclined & have the time.

For me, it’s all about how Paul Westerberg turns a phrase. This album is full of ‘em. This album on cassette is one that helped me through a rough time in my life. I can’t be objective about it although I feel the album transcends my bias.
