It’s always challenging trying to listen with a straight face to the idiocy that defines Donald Trump and his incompetent band of thieves, liars and contemptuous beings that made up the four-year shit-show that was his maladministration.
But after seeing the headline and reading an article today in “Business Insider” about Mike Pompeo, Trump’s inept Secretary of State, it was hard not to spit my coffee all over the place.
The headline: “Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says US should ‘crush the Taliban” in Kabul using ‘American air power.’”
The article then elaborated on how Pompeo said in a FOX News interview that we should keep the pressure on the Taliban even as we are withdrawing from that country, among other juicy nuggets of “wisdom.”

Of all of the people on this planet, Pompeo is the last person who should be dispensing any “advice” to President Biden on the dumpster fire that he and his enabler in the White House left President Biden in Afghanistan.
The audacity from Trump’s former co-conspirator still knows no bounds.
There are so many other things to say about Pompeo’s sudden, miraculous pretention to be capable of determining the best course of action in Afghanistan after years of sheer negligence and incompetence on his part that it’s hard to know where to even begin.

But lets start with these:
-Mr. Pompeo...if you think that bombing the crap out of the Taliban using American air power is the best solution...why did you not make such a recommendation when you actually had the power to do so?
-You, Mr. Pompeo, and the Trump administration were the ones who disingenuously told us all that you had made some kind of a “deal” with the Taliban…and look where that so-called “deal” has gotten us all.
-Do you really think that pissing off the Taliban to the max just as we are exiting that country will help with our future relations with Afghanistan’s new government...or are you just fishing for any excuse to divert attention away from your own ineptitude? (That’s a rhetorical question since we all know the answer).
-Can you please share with us all the “genius” that you demonstrated as Secretary of State when it comes to Afghanistan that gives you some kind moral authority from which to be dispensing any kind of advice of any kind?
-Do you not see the sheer irony...and hypocrisy...in you even attempting to give advice about Afghanistan after your tenure developing, implementing and overseeing our failed policy there?
The term Monday morning quarterback doesn’t do justice to the pomposity of Pompeo when it comes to him even considering giving advice to President Biden about Afghanistan.
