USA Today story jacked me immediately to DEFCON 1! BIDEN’S KATRINA??????
www.usatoday.com/…
It's pieces like this are reason why Americans opinion of news media are at an all time low.
Bush was responsible for Katrina because of actions he/his administration took that led to humanitarian disaster in New Orleans (as well as decades of US domestic policy).
Likewise the issues in Afghanistan currently are directly due to the failed policies of the domestic terrorist who occupied the White House and US policy dating back to Bush/Cheney. Biden has been left to clean up mess Republican presidents have made as most other Democratic presidents have had to.
Suspect most of the 10-15 K Americans left there are NOT US officials or associated with US Embassy but there as "contractors" another name for paid mercenaries, as such, their employers are responsible for their safe return. Any Americans there who were not government employees or US Military knew there was an end date since Feb '20 (Biden extended it). The non-government, non-military that remained there did so because they were getting paid to be there.
Afghanistan once Bin Laden was gone was nothing more than the military-industrial complex Eisenhower warned the country about.
Shame on USA Today and the rest of the media for playing politics instead of following journalistic principles.
