“Life, don't talk to me about life," Marvin the depressed robot.
I know exactly how Marvin feels. I thought I’d give you an update on life here at Pixie’s Castle. The Princess by the way is taking a nap on the bed except when she tries to get into my wine.
Let us start at 3:30AM on May 28th. I get up to go to the bathroom and a suddenly hear a click sound. I have to grab onto furniture to keep from falling down. I make it back to bed and toss and turn all night. When I get up I can barely walk, I am shaking like a leaf, I am having problems talking. Everything looks like a possible stroke. For the first time I am in an ambulance with the siren blaring. A CAT Scan and a MRI don’t show symptoms of a stroke. So instead of finding out what is really wrong they send in this condescending thing telling me it is all in my head and call a psychiatrist. I finally get to see my Doctor’s PA on Wednesday. Most likely it was a TIA. So hopefully we can get answers on Wednesday.
As you know I am the Caregiver for my brother Reid. The original I can eat all the junk food I want, and ignore my diabetes, and not take the insulin and the reason I have lost both legs, yeah that Reid. Now to add to all of his other problems he is now in End Stage Renal Disease. So that means they are going to have to put in a permanent catheter and he will have to have in home dialysis for the rest of his life. Well I knew working for a kidney dialysis supply company for six years would come in handy.
So now in the next week I’ll have to try and figure out how to clean up his room and get stuff put into the large closet so I’ll have room to store his supplies.
We are now at the point where I need plenty of red wine, lots of chocolate, a large Everything But the Kitchen Sink pizza from Strictly to Go in Concord California and some soothing music.
