The Big Picture from a member of the Universe

Many problems, issues, danger, opinions...but no solutions. I have them, although in reality it is a “wish list”:

1. All elections from State Governor to President determined by Popular Vote ONLY.
2. All elections from State Governor to President get ONE term (say 4-6 years) to remove the influence of big donors. An elected official can run for another term after sitting out the next.
3. Gun violence?: about 70% of ALL US gun murders are due to settling disputes over drugs, from  the low level user/dealer to everyone up the ladder to cartels. They cannot resolve disputes in this multi-hundred billion dollar business via courts.
4. Therefore, all drugs must be legalized, produced, process, distributed and retailed at a price and availability similar to alcohol. This reduces our prison confinement, cripples cartels and creates vast new business and employment opportunities in the US. May even reduce illegal immigration. Drug use is mala prohibita-like speeding, but has draconian penalties associated with mala in se (inherently evil)  such as murder.
5. This enables our police officers to do REAL police work, and make allies out of communities instead of enemies.
6. RAISE TAXES on those making over $400,000 and eliminate loopholes-MAKE TAXES FAIR.
7. Design, produce and assemble ALL US products. If the company ‘outsources’, fine them twice as much as they are saving because right now China has us by the boys and almost everything we buy was made in another country.
8. Justice department makes investigating US born terrorism and corrupt politicians of any stripe top priority.
9. Nationalize voting procedures standards.
10. We can get this all done if there is the will, however, man is his/her own worst enemy. 

11. Lastly, if we can’t fix ourselves (the US) first, we can’t fix anything else. Anywhere.
