An answer to the Texas Taliban?

It’s been national news for a few weeks now. SCOTUS sat on it’s hands to allow a horrendous anti-women law to go into effect.

Aside from the banning of constitutionally protected abortion rights, the Texas GOP decided to “deputize” every person on the entire planet to “enforce” this law by offering a financial incentive to them to rat out their neighbors and others in exchange for potential $10,000 reward.

Indiana GOP are considering a similar anti-women bill. It was reported last night that Democrats there will introduced rebuttal bill named the “Texas Bill” that would place similar civil bounties on the men who get those women pregnant.

I have  a better idea sure to get SCOTUS to over turn any attempt to circumvent the constitution by empowering individuals, with no standing or now evidence of injury, to sue alleged “offenders” who have not even been charged with an offense.

It goes like this…

Take the Texas law pretty much as-is because the less you change it the better. Just substitute “abortion” with “assault weapon”. Everyone must surrender their weapons of slaughter and any person who knows of any citizen still possessing such weapons may sue that person in court for $10,000 plus attorney fees.

Just how log will GOP or SCOTUS allow that type of constitutional end run to stand when the rights it tries to infringe falls on their precious 2nd Amendment.
