Rand Paul’s favorite source of disinformation, OAN, has been removed from Direct TV. That enraged the Junior Senator from Kentucky.

Sen.
Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says he is canceling his subscription to DirecTV after the company announced plans to drop pro-Trump conservative cable channel One America News (OAN) from its listings.
"Why give money to people who hate us?" Paul said in a tweet sent on Monday.
That angry tweet has since been removed.
OAN is one of several conservative media entities that have been sued in recent months for allegedly broadcasting false or defamatory claims about the 2020 presidential election results.
An investigative report from Reuters in October found nearly all of OAN's revenue came from a single contract with telecom giant AT&T, which owns and operates DirecTV.
Other consumers of OAN’s disinformation like Gym Jordan aren’t pleased. Apparently they also crave being lied to.
So the day after the DirecTV announcement, Trump took the opportunity to lash out at his cult rally in Arizona, praising OAN and confessing that "I watch it all the time," and laughably that "You really get the truth."
"But you know what? One America News has done a great job. And here's the story, what just happened. The woke executives, I don't know what the hell they're doing. They have so much debt. AT&T is a company that is in serious trouble. And they need AT&T, and AT&T is saying that they may no longer agree to carry this network that's doing very well. You know why? Because people told them not to do it. So maybe what we should do is not use AT&T."
But One America News never did very well. OAN has always been a marginal operation, peddling bald-faced lies as ‘News’. No wonder someone as dishonest as Trump loved their subservience to his false narrative.
