The stupid from Jan 6th insurrectionists is truly awe inspiring.
Jailed Rioter Begs Judge for Release: I’m Sick of Spending Time With Other Rioters
When you first see that headline, maybe you think, “It’s one of the insurrectionists who was walking around the Capitol Building after the mob crashed through the doors and assaulted all those cops.” And possibly, this person has “seen the light” or just plain realized that they now will have a criminal record and have lost their job. And this person is not as hard core as some of the worst insurrectionists.
But you would be all sooooooooo wrong.
Meet Robert Gieswein of Colorado:
A 24-year-old Woodland Park man was indicted by a Washington, D.C. grand jury Thursday on charges of assaulting U.S. Capitol police officers, interrupting a government proceeding and damaging government property.
Robert Gieswein remains in federal custody and has a hearing tomorrow.
Gieswein is a member of a militia group called the Three Percenters, an anti-government extremist group. The FBI has dubbed the group dangerous.
Gieswein allegedly used both a baseball bat and aerosol spray to intimidate and assault at least three law enforcement officers, according to the four-page indictment released on Thursday.
He’s a fuckin Three Percenters. They are listed as a hate group by the Southern Law Poverty Center, and they are the same group who threatened Democratic Governor Andy Beshear during 2020. They hanged Beshear in effigy near his home over his emergency COVID-19 orders. And Gieswein is a violent fucker who used both chemical spray and a baseball bat to attack Capitol Hill police officers.
And Geiswein doesn’t want to be around the other insurrectionists anymore because they “live in a bubble.”
A violent Capitol rioter is seeking his pretrial release from the DC Jail, arguing that it's "not healthy" to be "stuck in a bubble" with other insurrectionists who share his views…
In a handwritten letter to U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan filed in court on Thursday, Gieswein wrote that he read a recent Vice News article about the "Patriot Wing" of the DC Jail, where he is housed with other hardcore perpetrators of the Jan. 6 insurrection.
"I am not an expert in anything, but I do know it's not healthy to spend every day in here like it's Groundhog's (SIC) Day, with people with the same viewpoint, in the same situation, because we are all portrayed by much of the media as one type of person," Gieswein wrote. "It is natural in this environment for the conversation to turn to January 6, and for us to look to each other for strength."
He continued his argument that he needed to hear from trusted people to get another perspective on the Jan 6th insurrection. It appears that those Jan 6th insurrectionists in jail are a RADICAL bunch of people. And Gieswein is doing his best to get his information now from trusted people instead of the riff raff sitting in jail now (he states he watches CNN and Steve Bannon’s podcast).
You were already radicalized Dude. Who the fuck are you kidding with this move? What you want is to be as physically as far away from those other dumb fuckers who are now being sentenced to years in prison. And we are way beyond guilt by assocation. You attacked cops with chemical spray and a baseball bat to overtun a U.S. Election.
You chose to be a member of a terrorist organization.
