Brace for impact: The Daily Kos Elections prediction contest is back, in 2022 form! We’re thrilled to announce that our good friends at the exceptional Green’s Bakery have generously donated the prizes for the top four finishers: decadent gift bundles jam-packed with assorted delights!
If you want a chance to earn some of New York's finest baked goods, we're asking you to pick the winners in the top Senate, House, and governor races from across the country—and a few other surprises. And, as a tie-breaker, we want you to guess the vote share received by each of the candidates in the first round of Alaska’s at-large House race.
You can enter as many times as you like using the form below, up until the contest deadline of 5 PM ET on Nov. 8—one hour before the first polls close—but if you enter more than once, only your final submission will count. The contest is only open to Daily Kos users in good standing, with accounts created prior to this posting. (You can still submit guesses if you need to create an account now, though you won’t be eligible for prizes.) You will also need to provide your email address so that we can contact you if you win. (We will not publish or share your email address.)
Note that you do not need to “Sign in to Google to save your progress,” as the form may suggest. Your answers will be recorded automatically once you complete the form, which only takes a couple of minutes.
Feel free to share your predictions in comments (though only answers submitted via the form will count). Winners will be notified once all election results are final, so there may be a bit of a delay before we can contact you.
