With just six days to go until Election Day in the Georgia Senate runoff, it’s now officially Obama o’clock in the Peach State. The Warnock campaign has released a new 60 second ad featuring Barack Obama, and it hits hard:
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama has recorded a couple of robocalls for the Warnock campaign (via AJC):
“This election is going to be very close, and there are a lot of folks on the other side hoping you stay home,” she said. “But we need you to get out and vote one more time for Raphael Warnock. Rev. Warnock will always fight for Georgia, and in the Senate he’s proven he can get things done.”
As the AJC’s Greg Blustein points out, Michelle Obama has only endorsed a handful of candidates this cycle. This shows the high priority she places on getting Reverend Raphael Warnock back into the Senate.
