It’s a cliche, but a cliche for a reason: This election will all come down to turnout. And on Election Day—as in the days and weeks before—Democrats are hitting the streets and holding rallies, doing what they can to turn out every possible voter. This is how we can win the toss-up races, and everyone doing their part to get out the vote is a hero today.

There are also people who have already voted who need help making sure their votes count. These are people we know want to vote, since they’ve already turned in ballots.
Vice President Kamala Harris has been on a sprint around the country, showing up for Los Angeles mayoral candidate Karen Bass, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, and Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Maura Healey in recent days. On Election Day, she did a virtual GOTV event with members of UNITE HERE canvassing in Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. That union canvass operation will have knocked 2.7 million doors in those state in the leadup to Election Day.
