You know House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy is in trouble when MAGA sweethearts Georgia loudmouth Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Colorado gun-toter Rep. Lauren Boebert are at each other’s throats over supporting McCarthy and former President Donald Trump.
The spat started during an “AmericaFest” event Monday when Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk asked Boebert and creepy Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz what they thought of Greene’s support of McCarthy’s run for House speaker, Insider reports.
While Gaetz was demure, Boebert went for the jugular.

"Well, you know, I've been aligned with Marjorie and accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in," Boebert said. "I don't believe in this, just like I don't believe in Russian space lasers, Jewish space lasers, and all of this."

Boebert was referring to a now-deleted post to Greene’s Facebook page where she implied that the massive wildfires in California had been started by lasers controlled by lawmakers and Jewish bankers.
Greene turned to Twitter and hit back at Boebert about her razor-thin midterm election win and referred to her comments as “high school drama.”
The Georgia QAnon congresswoman tweeted that Boebert “just barely came through by 500 votes,” even with support from Greene, Trump, and McCarthy.
Boebert barely won her seat and even after a recount, and was only elected with 546 votes.
“She gladly takes our $$$ but when she’s been asked: Lauren refuses to endorse President Trump, she refused to support Kevin McCarthy, and she childishly threw me under the bus for a cheap sound bite,” Queen of the Cheap Shots Greene tweeted.
She ended her Twitter rant with the following:
“The country is facing extremely difficult times. Americans expect conservative fighters like us to work together to Save America and that is the only mission I’m 100% devoted to, not high school drama and media sound bites. Save America! Defeat the Democrats!”
Although both of these MAGA celebs are equally detested by the Democrats and seem like they’re one and the same, even bonding over heckles of President Joe Biden during his first State of the Union address, Boebert has been trying desperately to disentangle herself from Greene.
The two famously fought at a Freedom Caucus meeting not long after Greene appeared in February at a white nationalist event organized by notorious Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes, Politico reported in April.
Greene has been unapologetically supportive of McCarthy taking over as House speaker, but Boebert has laid out a few conditions for her support of him.
“You cannot demand more responsibility without accountability. From the beginning. I have said my hard line is vacate the chair. We have to have an accountability mechanism on the speaker of the House," Boebert said. And according to reporting by Politico, Boebert remains on the fence about her Jan. 3 vote.
Boebert has said that she would not support McCarthy without the ability to effortlessly remove him from the top position, aka the “accountability mechanism.”
"If there is accountability there, we can start having other conversations, but those conversations don't exist without accountability," she said. "So we'll see on Jan. 3 if there's any accountability there, but I don't see it coming yet."
Perhaps Boebert is waiting like a spoiled child to see if she can get what she wants from McCarthy. Because while Greene was in McCarthy's office, presumably, with her list of demands in her hot sweaty hands, Boebert was locked in a recount battle.
