I’ve been conveying all the kind words and good thoughts from Kossacks to former user Black Max (Michael Tuck) to his widow, Sissy (legal name Maggie/Margaret). She wrote the following on her Facebook page to thank all of her well wishers, both here and elsewhere:
Thank you all for your outpouring of love, support and offers of help during the biggest nightmare and the greatest tragedy of my life. I had no idea just how many friends Michael had here, in his writers group and on the Daily KOS. He was so loved and respected by hundreds of people. I am so glad he had all of you in his life borne from the things that he was so passionate about and the things he fought so hard for. I wish I could respond to each and every one of you, but I am debilitated by grief.
May she receive peace and healing, and know that she is not alone.
I also wanted to convey a request for something more material than condolences and prayers.
As you might imagine, Sissy is not only coping with the loss of her beloved life partner, but the medical bills and funeral expenses that accompany a long hospitalization and an unexpected death. This has been an overwhelming and horrible time for her, and if anyone can spare a little, it would be greatly appreciated and gratefully received.
Please know that family and friends have accordingly set up a Venmo account at @Marguerite-Stewart-2, code number 2596. Sissy is overwhelmed right now, both financially and emotionally, and every amount, no matter how small will help.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. This has been a tremendous loss for her, and she could use a boost.
Peace,
Ellid

As requested, I did ask if there was a physical address where one could send a check. Sissy does not have a post office box at this time, but is grateful for any assistance or good wishes she receives.
So thanks on her behalf, and thanks for listening.
Have a good weekend, everyone.
