I actually have a serious question I’d like to ask TFG...but he doesn’t have a Twitter account anymore (praise be to the Flying Spaghetti Monster), and I’m not even sure if he can talk without tweeting...come to think of it, they might have to give him one of those retinal scan keyboards that Stephen Hawking used just so he can order his one and only food source: Hamburders from McDonalds.
Srsly though, I guess he has been communicating not so secretly through his spokescritter, Liz Harrington, who dutifully breaks Twitter’s terms of service by posting all of his statements on her Twitter account and thus circumventing the ban on him. Really good job enforcing your policies, Twitter.
Anyway, the latest rule-violating message she posted blasts Pence for his speech yesterday, where he points out the obvious, that he had no authority to overturn the election. tRump looses his ever-loving cheetos over this and claims that Pence does, in fact, have the magic power to overturn the election. So, let's think about how that process would have “worked” in his “mind.” First, here’s her/his tweet:
A lot of blah, blah, blah, amiright? But here’s the question:
After 7 out of 100 Senators and 138 out of 438 Represenatives voted and FAILED to block the certification of AZ and PA’s electors, WTF did you want Pence to do about it? Just pretend that the vote right in front of his face didn’t happen and declare the election invalid?
Now, I know the obvious answer from a moronic traitor is that of course he wants what he wants and he wants Pence to do it about a year ago (even though he has no authority) just by virtue of the fact that he’s standing at a podium. But, there’s this thing called THE LAW, which actually lays out the process for objecting to the certification of votes, and once the joint session of Congress has voted to REJECT that objection, there’s nothing that says the Man at the Podium can simply declare that vote invalid (along with all the other votes of the American people, who elected Joe Biden). So, I know MAGAts have this whole fantasy that a dispute in the electoral college would be settled in the House with one vote per state and Republicans control more states, and yadda yadda. But, no, that would never happen because no matter what Pence said or didn’t say, the electoral vote had been certified. The election was not in dispute. The Democratic-controlled House would not have agreed to adjudicate a “disputed election” because there was no dispute. So, my final questions are:
Hey Donzo, when you lose an election by over 7 million votes, do you really think Mikey is the guy who can get you outta that? What exact words do you want him to say to make you not a loser anymore?
