Today, an Anonymous group updated its tools for communicating with the Russian people.
The website 1920.in, was developed by a group of Polish programmers known as @squad3o3. It now allows anyone anywhere in the world to send phone messages using SMS or Whatsapp, and also to email addresses of random Russian individuals.
Their page is at 1920.in
The text reads
Dear Russians, your media is being censored. The Kremlin is lying. Find out the truth about Ukraine on the free web and on the Telegram app. Time to overthrow dictator Putin!
-Go to http://1920.in on your phone
-Copy the Russian text
-Click the number generator at the top of the page
-Click SEND
-The phone will go to its message app or to Whatsapp
-Paste the Russian text
-Send
-Repeat
What has been working for me is the WhatsApp tool on the page.
I was reaching 40-50% of the numbers until my number was blocked, so your results may vary.
This is the Wall St Journal coverage of their story so far.
Most of my info comes from Twitter: @AnonymousVideo, @squad3o3, and other anonymous pages
