Okay, the Russians are attacking maternity hospitals and killing innocent babies in Ukraine. It is time to start lining up EVERY corporation that does business with Russian and with Belarus, and start shaming them into dropping ALL business activity until the conflict is concluded. One by one. A cigarette company today, a restaurant chain tomorrow and so on and so on and SHAME each one of them into dropping their business. A receding tide lowers all ships, so they can point to their shareholders and say, ‘Yes, we took a hit, but we did our part for the greater good.’ One by one until those two countries are completely and totally isolated. Yes it will hurt everyone’s pocketbooks, but if you’re have a problem about that, just be thankful you aren’t trying to give birth as the other half of the building you are in is collapsing. Systematically, day by day, start pressuring companies that aren’t FULLY withdrawing their economic support for the Russian war machine (and its Belarusian toady). Shell and McDonald’s folded as soon as the pressure started to rise. Starbucks, Coca-cola and Pepsi fell right in behind. DON’T STOP THERE. Every day there should be another two or three companies the receive the brunt of the Internet’s ire, followed the next day by two or three more. Compile a list and then start checking it off.
