Happy Friday! Bit is off work today, so we’re going to clean and do laundry and play some games. Lately we’ve been playing Stardew Valley together.
We went for groceries on Thursday. And the trip was ok, but frustrating.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Parents with small children need to stop telling their kids that it’s ok to pet my service dog, especially after I’ve already said no. I understand curiosity, I get it. But this kid tried 4 times because their parent kept telling them it was ‘ok’.
Grocery shopping wears me out in the first place, never mind being stalked through the grocery store by a 4 year old. And they were on pretty much the same circuit we were, so I had to check around every corner in case she was waiting there for us.
Bit was running interference, but still, we’re trying to shop and get done and get home. Doesn’t help that my body has been uncooperative about movement the past few days.
Sophie is patient with kids, especially when she’s in harness and in my lap (and they can’t run over her, literally). But, she’s working, I was in pain and pushing through to get groceries done and neither of us were in the mood for being chased around the store by a 4 year old.
The lady tried to get in line behind us, and an employee called them over to another line. Thankfully the people at that store know us and were willing to help.
At least it’s not just me.
