So today I read a thread about how democrats fail at communication, or MSM doesn’t hear/amplify their messages as they do with the Republicans. And it occurred to me, that maybe we can change that, at least here. So…
I invite everyone to my new occasional series, “What Nancy said today.” It may not always be Nancy. It may be another awesome democrat.
So what Nancy said today:
“Too many families and communities across the nation have been shattered by the epidemic of gun violence plaguing our nation, which steals more than 100 beautiful souls each day. Moved by the tireless activism of survivors and advocates, House Democrats have passed the Bipartisan Background Checks Act and the Enhanced Background Checks Act: commonsense and urgent action that will help end the bloodshed. Democrats will not relent until we enshrine this life-saving legislation into law, because inaction is not an option.”

Last night/early this morning, 6 people were killed by gunfire and another 11 or 12 injured in downtown Sacramento, blocks from the capital. It is still unknown why it happened, although it seems there was a fight that may have instigated it. While local pundits emphasized its proximity to the local stadium, based on early reports it was closer to the capital, and outside the Crest Theatre.
I would also like to point out, that women often have a hard time being heard. So because we elect women, MSM may be somewhat programmed not to hear us. And that get’s multiplied when the women we elect aren’t white.
Let’s change that.
Let’s be heard.
