As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Good morning friends! Welcome to another Saturday! Congratulations, we made it to another weekend. This week I was asked a question that got me thinking about some of the video games that have captivated my imagination of late. Most of the open world games i play have a way point system similar to the image above. A lit path that allows you to follow to the next point on the map, rather than trying to follow the map itself and getting lost in some of the odd twists and turns. it occurred to me that with the advent of Augmented and mixed reality, we are coming to a point where something like this could be brought into the real world. making it much easier for those of us who are directionally challenged to get where we are going.
This would not be the first time that Sci-fi inspired real life tech… Now i wont lie, i think we are all aware by now of the failure that was google glass, but i think that with a better implementation something like this could work… So here is my question… What tech are you hoping for in the next thirty years??,
