Happy Fourth of July! Inspired by today’s events at Highland Park, Ill. —
I propose to honor the brilliant architects of the Supreme Court's Second Amendment jurisprudence by establishing, by Congressional Resolution, "The John G. Roberts Court Honor Roll," consisting of all the victims of the Court's gun "control" decisions since the Heller decision in 2008. The Resolution should also delegate an appropriate Committee to compile, each year, a Report setting forth the names of the human lives lost in each year to the Roberts Court's firearms dogma: That every person, regardless of age, criminal background or mental condition is entitled to own as many guns of any kind and as many high-capacity magazines as he wants, as well as body armor, and to carry his firearms anywhere he wants, at any time (except, of course, at the Supreme Court and the homes of the individual Justices).
The Report should note, for Special Honors, those who died in any Mass Shooting incident encouraged, aided and abetted by the Roberts Court during the year in question and, for the Highest Honors, those children who died in Mass Shootings at schools. Finally, the Resolution and each annual Report should conclude with Thoughts and Prayers for all those killed by the guns and equipment duly authorized by the Roberts Court. The Report shall be presented annually to the Justices responsible for maintaining the Roberts Court's gun jurisprudence in effect during that year, in a public, televised ceremony, to be held at the site of the Mass Shooting that claimed the most victims during the year, which shall be given the status of a National Firearms Monument.
Please write to your Congressperson recommending the passage of the The John G. Roberts Court Honor Roll Resolution. It’s the least we can do for those Supreme geniuses who have done so much to create and foster the existing climate of public safety.
