This case “A 10-year-old was forced to cross state lines for an abortion after Ohio's ban went into place. The Indiana doctor who helped her will soon be unable to assist others” led me to look up who the youngest females to give birth on record were. Here’s the list, noting that these are only recorded instances. The youngest was five years and seven months old. Look at how many were victims of incest, which one has to consider rape.
Now for a rectorial question: would it make any difference to the likes of this font of human compassion and empathy who has presidential aspirations if the 10 year old was eight or nine?
Consider: GOP Gov. Kristi Noem Says 10-Year-Old Rape Victim Should Be Forced to Have Baby (Video)
Excerpt (my emphasis):
Noem deflected, turning attention away from the child to the rapist, all while eventually making it clear that a 10-year-old in the same situation in South Dakota would indeed be banned from in-state abortion unless her life was in danger.
"What's incredible is that nobody is talking about the pervert, horrible and deranged individual that raped a 10-year-old. What are we doing about that? What are we doing about those individuals that do this to these children?" Noem responded. "As much as we talk about what we can do for that little girl, I think we also need to be addressing those sick individuals that do this to our children."
After acknowledging that she can't imagine what the 10-year-old or her family is going through because "I've never had anybody in my family or myself gone through anything like this," Noem noted that abortions are illegal in South Dakota unless to save the life of the mother.
I’m a man and I never had any children, dear Governor Noem, who considering she has three children two of whom are young women, and I can easily imagine what both the 10 year old and her family are going through.
But you, in your wretched and wicked denial and deflection can’t bring yourself to try to put yourself in the place of this child, emphasis on child, and her family.
What if one of your girls was raped at any age? How would you feel about one of them having the rapist’s child and even being force to grant visitation rights to him or joint custody even if he was in prison?
Consider this (from Fox News so it must be true): In Seven US states, rape victims can be legally forced to share custody of their children with their rapist fathers.
The states are Maryland, Alabama, Mississippi, Minnesota, Wyoming, New Mexico, and North Dakota. Last I looked on a map the last one is rather close to South Dakota. Just saying...
