Listen, I did not vote for the republicans that don’t represent me or what I believe. I don’t threaten them. I have tried to let them know my concerns and wishes for a fair and free democracy which they ignored. They have consistently supported the former president Trump and the republican agenda that would eliminate Social Security, Medicare, the green deal, civil rights and public schools, an agenda that would ignore, no erase the acknowledgement of our history of racial discrimination and inequity and give no fair credit to the Americans that are the backbone, strength of this nation. Republicans also want to ignore climate change and catastrophe choosing inaction and blaming those who suffer the results and making a buck off our tragedy rather than act on policies that would alleviate or diminish damages.
Yes, there has always been bad laws that stack discrimination in them to elevate a power group. The Civil Rights Movement in 1963 led to necessary legal changes and the Voting Rights Act (VRA) of 1965. Politician against equality started plotting. Republicans brought the case which gutted the VRA by the Supreme Court of The United States (SCOTUS) in 2013 Shelby County v. Holder decision. Justice Roberts argued no discrimination existed obviously since we had a black President Obama, right?
The VRA was further undermined by republicans in cases accepted by the SCOTUS and decisions, intercessions made in Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee and Merrill v. Milligan. And coming soon Moore v. Harper to address the independent state legislature theory in the fall of 2022. All these decisions have sided so far with republicans against VRA and voters rights, to be represented and vote at all. I have no faith in a republican congress or the SCOTUS with 6 republican appointed justice to 3 democrat appointed justices. Below see what the 6 stated and then overturned Roe v. Wade anyway.

"The court’s intervention in Merrill v. Milligan was so radically unjustified that Chief Justice John Roberts—an architect of the judicial attack on voting rights—dissented, alongside the three liberals. The court’s order indicates that the five ultraconservative justices are preparing to dismantle the VRA’s guarantee against gerrymanders that dilute the voting strength of Black Americans. Indeed, by interceding so aggressively in Merrill, these far-right justices have effectively nullified this guarantee for the current redistricting cycle."

This article reviews the seriousness of potential decision by the SCOTUS in favor of republican wish to gain legal favor for the independent state legislature theory or doctrine, www.npr.org/… in order to overturn the next election that does not go in their favor legally and without and legal recourse for us voters.
Radical Republicans know they and their 2016 leader former President Trump are breaking laws. They have been actively obstructing democracy and stacking the SCOTUS and getting biased, in their favor decisions including the 2013, Citizens United and Shelby County v. Holder. They go at it from both the State and Federal levels to invalidate legal justice. If the State Constitution protects voting rights, then invalidate that at the federal level. If the federal law protects voting rights, then invalidate at the State level. They are invalidating our votes at both ends and we have to stop them.
Trump is a figure head; his supporters his fountainhead, don’t care about antidemocracy criminal acts. They know they have the means to change the law in their favor and eliminate democracy. They know they are close to overturning our votes without having to fire a shot. Although by their rhetoric, they really would like to shoot anyone not on board with their mission.
The January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, insurrection was a practice run. As of yet no members of congress or the former president of the United States has had any significant legal consequences for these acts of treason. They continue to perpetrate the big lie of election fraud that when investigated, they are the guilty parties, voting with dead relatives' ballots, planting false ballot boxes and intimidating voters at the polls. And at high organizational levels, postmaster general Dejoy removing mailboxes and eliminating the necessary workers to deliver the mail effectively and timely are strikes against people using mail ballots.
In fact, any republicans that believe in upholding the law, believe in the Constitution of the United States and takes seriously their oaths of office are often politically massacred by the radical republican party in the current Trump culture. Can we say Liz Cheney. They reward the big liars with campaign funds and win elections on the big lie, translation, guarantee to overturn elections to favor their base voter's interest despite being a minority of the population, a minority of the voters.
Former President Trump (FPT) and members of congress cannot be above the law and must be prosecuted in the law for their part in the January 6, 2021, insurrection and attack on our Capitol and our democracy. His base voters love him for breaking the law and getting away with no consequence, legal or financial. FPT shows them that with enough power, support from the republican congress and the radical right stacked SCOTUS they can change the laws so there are no legal consequences for them. They would take us back more than 100 years in forward legal progress fought for our civil rights, to enslave us to corporate, wealth hoarders.
What have republicans done. They have worked really hard to prevent us from voting and to prevent women from getting private safe and legal medical care.

In 43 states across the country, Republican lawmakers have proposed at least 250 laws that would limit mail, early in-person and Election Day voting with such constraints as stricter ID requirements, limited hours or narrower eligibility to vote absentee, according to data compiled as of Feb. 19 by the nonpartisan Brennan Center for Justice. Even more proposals have been introduced since then.
In the wake of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, top Republicans have made no secret of their desire to press for national abortion laws.

Moore v. Harper decision by the SCOTUS could allow congress to overturn the vote of the people if they take up the independent State Legislature Doctrine. It would allow State legislators to determine who represents us instead of our votes selecting who represents us. Our vote negated would be the final nail in the coffin of our democracy. If the democrats in congress and President Biden can appoint more justices to balance out the SCOTUS, they should. Democrats have to win in 2022 to keep our power and keep our democracy.
