Greetings, you darling, dimpled dumplings. Are you feeling delicious? No matter, I’ve had my dinner. It’s time for another fuzzy-headed open thread.
Last week I shared half a day of running around the big green lumps in the middle of Moravia enjoying sculptures and paintings and such.
A Day of Art in Beskydy, Part I
This week, I’ve got the other half of that day all cued up and ready for you.
Rožnov pod Radhoštěm
is a beautiful town in the heart of Moravia, with perhaps more art galleries than a town its size could reasonably keep viable.
After our morning of running around the gentle green mountains, we went downtown and took in some more art.
Then we went for a walk in a huge park along the river.
Exiting the park we decided to stop by the city museum. Hey, when you’re traveling with Pavel you get into these places for free.
After the museum, the others stopped at a café on the square.
Thanks for stopping by.
Oh, and Michelewln’s computer guy was expensive and incompetent. Hopefully she’ll figure out transferring her files and profile info with her brother’s help and be back with us. I haven’t heard anything since Wednesday though, so here’s hoping.
This is an open thread.
