While much of the world’s attention is focused on The SlobFather’s role as a defendant in numerous cases, including the one that alleges his criminal theft of top secret documents, many observers are unaware that there is another ongoing case in the South Florida federal court that issued the Mar-a-lago search warrant, in which TFG is suing Hillary and over 50 other defendants. The case was filed in March of this year, and is very much active, with filings having occurred as recently as Aug 16th.
The Litigant in Chief’s suit accuses Clinton and just about every other member of the Democratic party he could summon up of a racketeering conspiracy, for allegedly joining in “an unthinkable plot” to falsely accuse him of colluding with Russia in the 2016 presidential election. During the mind-numbing effort of weeding through baseless allegations in the 100+ page complaint, I discovered a few items of interest.
TFG accuses Clinton et al of imagined transgressions that are ironically similar to the actual crimes that he himself (allegedly) committed. From Hillary’s Motion to Dismiss:
Accusations Against Hillary in Trump v Clinton
...Plaintiff alleges that the RICO enterprise violated 18 U.S.C. § 1512, which forbids individuals from “alter[ing], destroy[ing], or conceal[ing] a record, document, or other object” in an “official proceeding,” from “obstruct[ing] influenc[ing], or imped[ing] any official proceeding,” and from “corruptly persuad[ing] another person” to “withhold testimony,” or alter and destroy documents...
Project much, Donnie?
A perusal of the case docket reveals that the Ex Commander in Thief unsuccessfully attempted to disqualify one magistrate judge — however six (yes SIX) other magistrates judges ended up recusing themselves, including Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart of the Mar-a-Lago case:
Recusal-Related Docket Entries in “Trump v Clinton”
- 3/25/22: Filing 11 ORDER OF RECUSAL. Magistrate Judge Shaniek M. Maynard recused. Case reassigned to Magistrate Judge Ryon M. McCabe
- 4/4/22: Filing 21 Plaintiff's MOTION to Disqualify Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks by Donald J. Trump

- 7/1/22: Filing 210 ORDER OF RECUSAL. Magistrate Judge Jared M. Strauss recused. Case reassigned to Magistrate Judge Patrick M. Hunt
Were one to have a a suspicious mind, one might speculate as to whether Mar-a-Lardo purposely used this case to “poison the well” by establishing a recusal rap against a large chunk of magistrate judges in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where he surely expected he would one day face charges.
Finally, props to Hillary’s attorneys, who used the occasion of rebutting the suit’s spurious claims to to take a few gratuitous shots at Don Loser Feloncamp. Here are a few nuggets from the Clinton filings:
TFG Ridiculed in Trump v Clinton Filings
- “Whatever the utility of Plaintiff’s Complaint as a fundraising tool, a press release, or a list of political grievances, it has no merit as a lawsuit, and should be dismissed with prejudice”
- “These allegations form the gravamen of all of Plaintiff’s claims. But notwithstanding his rousing, all-caps call to action, Plaintiff waited four years, four months, and twenty-four days before filing suit”
- “The only factually supported allegations concerning Clinton in the lengthy Complaint are that she declared her candidacy for president on April 12, 2015...”
- “Clinton tweeted that ‘Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to detract from his real ones. So it’s a day that ends in Y’”
Hillary’s legal team has filed a Motion to Dismiss this “case”, arguing among other things that it was not filed until after the various statutes of limitation had run out. Laughably, TFG’s crack legal team replied that he was too busy being president to timely file the suit (no, seriously folks). The dismissal motion is currently pending before one of the few non-recused magistrate judges remaining in the Southern District of Florida federal courthouse. Hopefully his honor has as good of a sense of humor as we do, and will laugh this travesty out of court.
