Trump’s crimes and Republican support for his crimes fill the media headlines. Coverage of American politics is dominated by their criminality. Still, two major crimes that resulted in multiple deaths are missing. Apparently too hot to handle. First, the January 3, 2020, hit on Qassem Soleimani that killed 10. Matched since 2020 to a reported $2 billion bounty out of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Which became kinda hard to hide when exactly $2 billion was paid to Kushner, a Trump intermediary, in 2022.
And second, from April/May 2018, Trump invoked a scheme to dump a feared Ebola outbreak on the states. As POTUS he set about sabotaging the Eisenhower anti-pandemic system: removing the federal management structure out of National Security Council and eliminating every part of their projects. Without that system, when COVID arrived in 2018 America had the single worst response among wealthy nations.
When Ebola failed to make the jump, Trump had to settle for dumping COVID on the states.
Back to Soleimani.
The campaign to get him killed came out of Saudi Arabia all through the ISIS-Iraq War. That’s from 2014 through 2017 when 27,000 Saudi males died fighting for the IS terrorists. And of course the Trump World denizens were on hand to stir the pot. For example:
Erik Prince's September 8, 2015 text to Bannon calling for Soleimani assassination'
This call for killing Soleimani came at the height of the ISIS-Iraq war as Soleimani protected our spotters on the ground on a daily basis and coordinated strategy to take out the largest terror operation in the world.
When these guys talk in code about “national disgrace,” the subject is money.
Gigantic bribes are a known feature of MbS power projection.
Early on everything was speculation out of the gamers. Prince & Kushner at the center.
Seems possible that these guys intended to give Trump something like $100 million. And keep $1.9 billion for themselves. The way Trump runs through money that might keep him flying for a couple of years.
Step forward in 2020 after the hit and the gamer community had the $2 billion price tag. Published severally.
Then in 2022 exactly $2 billion was transferred from Mohammed bin Salman al Saud, a.k.a. “Bonesaw,” to Jared Kushner. No one, ever, tosses $2 billion for nothing. And say what you will about MbS, he was smart to avoid using Erik Prince as a conduit.
This is murder for hire. Use of the federal government as part of a RICO operation.
Then we’ll need to move on to Trump killing off the Eisenhower anti-pandemic system.
America had a first-rate national system. Border quarantine triggered by WHO warnings plus literally dozens of fully funded projects to support local health departments. Here’s a one-page summary.
The numbers for COVID deaths are dated. Sorry about that.
Eventually we lost more than 1 million. That should be well under 100,000. If this Eisenhower system started in the 1950s had been left well enough alone, that’s where we would be.
These systems had been renamed and “reinvented” again and again over the years. Same system. I saw it from the outside as a techie decades back.
All of these projects were hidden from public view by the security clearances system. If you didn’t have a National Security Council clearance and need to know then you didn’t know about it. (Michael Lewis’s “Wolverines” included.)
Catastrophe set in when Trump was briefed on Ebola. He saw the perfect opportunity to screw his rival politicians. So he brought in John Bolton and eliminated every part of the federal system.
Hey, team, dump it on the states !!
Which is exactly what this massive sabotage accomplished. And yes, the specialty press covered the initial destruction. Corporate press avoided it altogether. Bolton wrote a White House memoir that makes no mention of these actions — despite that he was the person who carried out Trump’s orders and it was his first task in the White House.
OOps !! That went away. Simons Center: Global Health Security Team Disbanded 2018
I’m sure I posted more on this travesty in an earlier diary. Here’s something smaller — a .jpg of the title page from the Simons Center piece:
And there are several other astonished outbursts. For example, this from Ron Klain after he had been silent for two years:
Which gets us to considering prosecutions and god-knows “legacy.”
Trump ? Wonderful person. Great president. Or alternatively…...
Escaped from Hell ???
