It's actually the fifth skull I've painted. The other three are cow, elk, and horse.
The second goat skull took much longer for several reasons. It was very grimy when found and the cleaning process took months. Parts of the bone were damaged, and it took me a while to figure out what to do with that. It's also a smaller pattern overall.
Also the teeth of this skull were nearly falling out. After removing small broken bits I ran a line of glue around the inside line of each row of teeth.
As always I used ordinary acrylic craft paints. I finish with a clear matte spray coating.
I really enjoyed this project and I'm a little sorry to see it end.
Thank you for looking at my work. It's much appreciated.
