UPDATE: Ukraine’s ambassador to Turkey is denying that Turkey has been supplying cluster munitions to Ukraine. The original story is from two national security reporters for Foreign Policy magazine, which is quite reliable and mainstream. The original story can be read here.
The ambassador claims the report was an attempt to damage Ukraine’s relations with Turkey, which is pretty absurd.
The Foreign Policy story says that Turkey has tried to keep the whole thing quiet, which makes sense given their relationship to Russia.

When I first saw this video I wondered why the hell would that soldier be trying to catch a grenade being dropped by a drone. Turns out its a delivery of sugar to a Ukrainian soldier for tea. How longer before Shipt and other delivery companies try this.
Russia has been using cluster munitions against Ukraine since the start of the war. The bombs, which release a cluster of many smaller bombs that detonate over a wide area, are controversial and banned because of the problems caused by unexploded munitions that are spread everywhere.
Ukraine has wanted these weapons to use against Russia but the US has declined to supply them. Turkey agreed recently to supply them instead.
The Russians shelled a maternity hospital in Kherson today.

This video shows an attack on a Russian trench in Bakhmut. Be warned, however.
This video is very explicit and shows soldiers dying.
The road to Bakhmut, a living hell.
Imagine living in Bakhmut and not knowing when a shell might strike. The entire city should be evacuated. This link goes to a photo of a woman and her dog killed by Russian artillery as she was about to take the dog for a walk. It’s a powerful photo but it might disturb some, so I’m not embedding it.

Bakhmut is truly a killing field.
It’s probably best not to know.
Combat video from Soledar:

This is from an attack that apparently happened in mid-December in Luhansk Oblast.
When I see stuff like this I know it will be a very, very long time before Russia can be part of the peaceful world community again.
I know where these weapons can be put to good use.
More air defense on its way to Ukraine. These are especially suited for taking down drones.
There has been much speculation for many months that this war would lead to a breakup of the Russian Federation. This might be a first step of that in Ingushetia, a region in the Caucasus near Georgia and Chechnya.
