What a spectacle:
The adjudicated sexual predator former Republican President is endorsing for speaker someone credibly accused of covering up sexual abuse.
Of minors.
About two years ago, we learned that George Clooney was involved in producing a documentary about allegations Jim Jordan, Donald Trump’s choice to be second in line to the Presidency as Speaker, covered up team doctor Richard Strauss’s sexual abuse of Ohio State wrestling team members. Strauss later committed suicide.
Team members have testified publicly about this, and in today’s Meidas Touch News, Ron Filipowski writes: Jim Jordan's Sex Abuse Cover-Up: Explained, and includes this testimony.
In June, the Supreme Court refused to hear Ohio State’s argument that statutes of limitations barred the lawsuits and they are going forward.
I have periodically checked on the status of the Clooney film and seen nothing concrete. Filipowski quotes the film director, but has no further information:
When asked when it will be released by the Columbus Dispatch this past April, Director Eva Orner would not commit to a specific date, but says it is coming, and that it will "give the courageous men who were abused a powerful and clear voice."
