Hi all,
Some of you know that over the last year, Buttonsmith has made a really large ($1mil+) investment in building out a merch operation for the left which is carbon-neutral, unionized, on-demand, and uses US-made blanks. We have wanted it to be in place for the 2024 election cycle, because contrary to conventional wisdom, it turns out that the data shows that merch moves voters.(1) And, uh, we need to counter those ugly red hats.
The most exciting thing we've brought online is the only unionized, carbon-neutral t-shirt printing operation in the world. We can produce about 2000 shirts/day (or totes, or sweatshirts, or...), using OEKO-TEX certified (not harmful to humans) inks, with the most energy-efficient dryers in the world, powered entirely by electricity generated by hydro & wind.
And: I need to ask for your help.
While campaigns are ramping up for 2024, we still have to pay the monthly overheads for the capacity we have built.
Between now and sometime in the spring when campaigns really start to gear up, I need to be printing shirts to keep the lights on and my union employees busy.
So: if you need shirts, or you know somebody who needs shirts, would you be so kind as to let me know? And if you think you'll need shirts at some point, would you be willing to order them now? It would be a terrible waste to have made such a large investment in important capacity and then have it fall over because of a couple of months of operating expenses while campaigns are ramping up.
We can do full color, US-made, union-printed shirts for as little as $11.00/ea, with quantity discounts starting as low as 5 and going up to 100+. The shirts are awesome ringspun cotton, super soft and well made. (We also have US-made sweatshirts, baby onesies, toddler shirts, etc.)
Please let me know if you have questions or comments or concerns or suggestions...
Many thanks,
Darcy
