Editorial Comment: Christiana Figueres was the head of the UNFCC and, in my opinion, was one of the lynch-pins who made the Paris Agreement possible by concentrating on moving cities, states, and sub-national regions forward on climate after the debacle of the Copenhagen COP. I’ve seen her speak a few times and she is extremely knowledgable, smart, and FIERCE.
