UPDATE: There are unconfirmed reports this morning that the SBU operation at the Severomuysky Tunnel included a second operation to destroy the bypass train route that runs alongside it. If all this turns out to be true, it is an operation worthy of Hollywood.
Translation of the tweet below:
On the BAM railway in Siberian Buryatia, another Russian train has reportedly gone up in the air. 6 tanks of fuel caught fire when an explosive charge went off on the 35 m high Chertov Bridge. This was a follow-up attack to yesterday's blast in a railway tunnel. Since that tunnel was then blocked, the Russians were forced to use another railway line, which the Ukrainian side (the SBU is said to be behind) had of course anticipated and placed an explosive charge on a critical bridge section.
Just the other day Ukrainian President Zelenskyy hinted that Ukraine would make some long-range strikes against Russia soon. Last night Ukraine delivered, blowing up a fuel train inside a tunnel that is the main rail line between Russia and China.
The SBU (Ukrainian security services) blew up the train inside the 15.3-kilometer-long Severomuysky Tunnel in Buryatia, which is north of Mongolia and about 4,000 km from Ukraine. How they managed to pull that off has not been revealed.
It is significant that the explosion was said to have happened while the train was in the tunnel. Just blowing up the train on the tracks would not put the line out of action for that long — maybe a month or two. But blowing the train inside the tunnel will cause major problems.
Destroying a warehouse full of Shaheed drones used to target Ukrainian cities is a major accomplishment.
Taking out a building full of drone operators is as good as taking out Russian artillery.
A Russian air-defense system creates a big bavovna.
Another careless smoker.
Even in black and white that’s one hell of an explosion.
Another delay. But at least they are on their way.
I guess they didn’t pass basic training.
About 20 people from the [marine brigade] lit a fire during their lunch break nearby with ammunition storage. The RPG-7 grenade launcher shell rolled into the fire and exploded. Eight people died on the spot, another eight were injured. All those injured and killed were contract soldiers from Vladivostok. Four seriously wounded soldiers died in hospital within a few days.
Speaking of Russian morale, it’s in the shitter near Kryny.
Russia has long practiced a program to Russify Ukrainian territory, especially Crimea.
Russia has also long discriminated against LGBTQ people. But it just got worse.
He compares women to dogs. I’m speechless.
A battle that doesn’t involve killing anyone.
