UPDATE: Ukraine has launched a broad drone/missile attack tonight at numerous targets. The air field at Dzhankoy in northern Crimea has been lit up, with explosions reported to be so loud they can be heard more than 30 miles away in Heniches'k.
Traffic is stopped all the way back to the Chongar Bridge that links Crimea to Kherson Oblast.
Additionally, an oil depot in Donetsk has gone up in a huge fire.
A Ukrainian official sets off three grenades inside a Keretskovsky village council meeting in Transcarpathia, which is in Western Ukraine. The blast injured 26 people. There are various reports that anywhere from 1 to 6 people were killed. The bomber is reported to be either dead or in intensive care.
WARNING: The video shows the bomber walking through the door, then the explosions.
It’s a shame there is no video.
Russian troops can’t even hide in a concrete plant.
The 14 drones launched at Ukraine last night were shot down, but Kinzhal missiles are another thing entirely. Ukraine needs many more Patriot batteries.
Speaking of drones, Russia has a new Potemkin drone. Russia will soon be claiming to have used this to sink five Ukrainian aircraft carriers.
Drones are also changing the economics of the battlefield. Even if only 20% of the drones are successful, that makes 15 drone kills for the cost of one Javelin.
That anti-drone equipment did a fabulous job.
Russia is making gains at Klishchiivka by threatening the higher ground northwest of what is left of the village.
A Russian armored assault minus the armor.
The Russians who do this are cowards and scum.
These guys chose the wrong side.
The brand is toxic. Buying from Russia would be like making a deal with Trump to build a new hotel with his name on it.
Argentina’s new president is a real piece of work, but he gets credit for this.
Russia can always call the North Korean Consumer Complaint Hotline — 1-800-ARREST-U
The drones will find you. The video shows a drone chasing a Russian soldier and blowing him up.
Bakhmut will have to be rebuilt from scratch after the war. There is nothing there to save.
Another day, another 1,000 Russian casualties, 14 tanks and 38 APVs. Any other country would have quit this war by now with losses like this, but Russia will have to be utterly defeated.
A joyous reunion.
Soon to be an Olympic sport. Curling for real men. I’m assuming they have been rendered non-explosive, but you never know.
Snipers take out Russian mine-layers.
WARNING: Night-vision video shows the Russians being shot at a distance.
I don’t know how well it performs but that’s a bad-ass-looking weapon.
Rest in peace.
Boy saves dog.
A bird in the hand.
I don’t know where this is, but it’s the best thing I’ve seen on the internet all day.
