As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Greetings, friends, and welcome to another Saturday. Yay, We made it! Not so long ago, February, in fact, I was gifted with a brand new Logitech trackball mouse. I know that many people dislike them, but for me, Trackballs make computer use so much easier. Well, unfortunately, I woke up one morning last month to discover that my trackball would no longer connect to my computer, either using its included dongle, or through bluetooth. I tried a different usb port, I tried a fresh battery, I tried pairing it through bluetooth several times, all to no avail. The next day, I woke and realized that it wouldnae power on at all. After a few false starts I was connected to a live tech support agent, who took me through all the steps I had already tried. When he realized it wouldn’t power on at all, he sent me an email and had me fill in all the basic contact info. once I sent it back he put in a ticket, and told me that I would be receiving a replacement trackball in just a few days. Simple as that.
In a world where most companies seem to have forgotten what customer service actually means, I thought that it would be nice to share a positive story. Thank you. Have you ever had a truly great customer service experience?
