Rep. Lauren Boebert, probably smarting from not getting the “troll the libs” headlines that fellow Freedom Caucus members like Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene have gotten in recent days, decided to throw her big mind into the ring on Wednesday. She posted a meme of a globe that only showed the landmass of the lower 48 states. The meme’s header reads, “Map showing the only place my taxes should go to.”
It was a classic xenophobic and perfectly ignorant right-wing meme. It was one part bigoted, one part not clever, and a few parts factually incorrect. The ratio response Boebert received, even with Elon Musk’s new extreme right-wing algorithms pumping out hot garbage to long-standing Twitter accounts, was unable to balance the ship for Ms. Boebert.

There was some of the fact-checking we have come to expect.
Facts, Schmacks, right?
Good point.
Solid.
These three made me smile.
And finally, a response about the real tragedy of people like Lauren Boebert, whose worldviews have become so narrowed by fear and anger that they will pretend to laugh at everyone while sitting at the bottom of a well.
