I really intended to have another chapter of Dark Redemption ready to post. I had the day off today and thought that would be enough time to transcribe my rough notebook draft, but wound up spending the day dealing with car troubles. It’s drive-able, but needs to pass an emission tests, and it’s not passing because I let my battery run down to nothing last week and… well, one thing and another, and I wasted pretty much the whole day doing things that were not writing.
Hopefully next week.
But I wanted to post something, so I’m offering this drawing of my two plucky protagonists. For those who have not been following my Dark Redemption posts, the fellow with the side-whiskers in the old-fashioned wheelchair is Strephon Bellman, a semi-immortal half-fae living in the City of Redemption, a mid-sized metropolis located in the North of England where magic lurks in the shadows beneath the modern skyscrapers and tacky tourist sites. His companion is Miss Cassandra True, a reporter for a major local newspaper whose investigations into supernatural occurrences in the city brings her into Strephon’s hidden world.
And fun ensues.
