The ATF recently launched a database of “rogue” gun dealers, as outlined in an article in USA Today today. The lengthy list of places with the Federal Firearms Licenses (FFLs) that have been revoked or who have voluntarily discontinued their business can be found here.
Check it out, and then take a further step: if one of those stores is in your area, contact your local newspaper or other media outlet and give them a news tip. Such action on a local place of business is definitely newsworthy, especially in the wake of the most recent shooting in Nashville. And, anything we can do to bring awareness of these sorts of shady gun dealings is a good thing.
