Griot’s Garage Flagship Retail Store in Tacoma, Washington recently featured a display of Ferrari automobiles. Ferrari is an Italian luxury sports car. The company was founded by Enzo Ferrari (1898-1988) in 1939. Ferrari is noted for its participation in automobile racing. Ferrari road cars, manufactured in Maranello, Italy, are a symbol of speed and wealth.

Originally, Enzo Ferrari declared that his cars would only have a 12-cylinder engine. When the company first started producing cars with V6 and V8 engines, they were badged as Dinos. The 252 horsepower, four-cam 3-liter V8 is mounted transversely.
1984 Ferrari S12 BBI
The 512 designation refers to the 4.9 (5) liter, 12 cylinder engine. The BB is for Berlinetta Boxer and the I is for fuel injection.
