Some of my current blooms. I will try to put the full plant shot with the close-ups.
We are in Gig Harbor for a few days. Nephew has lacrosse tournament.
We went to a hospital in Seattle Friday. Our son has been there for two weeks following a series of bad events. Seizure in Atlanta, numerous falls, and finally incapacitation on his apartment floor for over 24 hours. He is off the IV, but can’t walk. More testing being done. I have 34 years sobriety and a 46 year old invalid from alcohol. It is a family disease.
More flowers, more fish, more recovery.
I was going to go up to Oregon State to take photos of rhododendrons two or three stories tall. Maybe next week. There is a story about a couple who were at Oregon Agricultural College early on. They thought rhododendrons on campus would be a good landscape program. When people criticized them saying the students would pick all the blossoms, the woman said they would plant so many and so big it wouldn’t matter a bit. It doesn’t.
