Conservative Catholic groups and politicians protested the presence of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at LA Dodgers Pride Night, and last week the Dodgers announced the group would no longer be honored, disinviting them.
There was a reaction from “both” sides.
Nevermind.
Now it’s back on.
“[I reject] the narrative that this is offensive to Catholics,” said Sister Bearoncé, a Los Angeles Sister and lifelong Dodger fan. “Religion is being used as a weapon ... to exclude a group of people.”
The Hanseatic League will eventually meet the Catholic League in the World Series.
