Just another bulletin and not really an update I guess.
For those who have been following my stories, John is my friend in Ghana who has been working so hard to help people. He is a very poor man with his own problems. His health is fragile, he has a wife and four children and other family members who depend on him. But he has consistently tried to help desperate people who have come to him asking for help in their own, personal emergencies.
Yesterday at about noon Eastern time John sent me a message in great distress. Then he disappeared. Not only is he not answering my texts, his phone is not even receiving them. I am getting ‘not delivered’ messages when I try.
I could speculate on what has happened but it would be only speculation.
I am very worried not only for John but for everyone he has been helping there. Especially four-year Anabel, the abandoned little girl. Without his help I don’t know what will happen to her but I can’t see how it could be anything good. The place where she has been staying cannot keep her without payment. What they will do I have no idea.
Difficult times.
