Update below - doctor quoted below is not at MA-General
Mass. General Brigham:
“You cannot ask staff members to wear a mask because our policies no longer require it. Our system is adhering to current public health recommendations.”
One doctor even said if a patient asks her to wear a mask “they will be escorted out.”
Yesterday I wrote I have been in the hospital and rehab for the last few weeks. There are still mask requirements here, but staff often wear the masks beneath their nose or just around their neck I politely ask them to wear it correctly and have no problem. The idea I can’t ask that is nuts.
And it’s not just COVID — RSV is contagious — I am seeing lots of commercials about it — particularly for those (like me) over 60.
MA-Gen is no better than Marjorie Taylor Greene here.
