Someone should bring marshmallows.
That tank is toast.
Sixteen drones were part of this assault and Russia apparently only shot down three.
The East German judge gives that one a 9.5 in the freestyle turret toss.
This isn’t Russia. It’s a gas station near Bucharest, the capital of Romania, which went up in a massive explosion. The shock wave must have been horrific. Reports indicate two died and more than 50 were injured.
They were probably shooting at trees.
Awesome. The reactions of the Russians hearing the messages are the best part.
Interesting setup.
To put it another way, he is no longer functional.
Another careless smoker.
I’ve been to Switzerland. It’s a beautiful country. But this is fucked up.
This is just a guess, but vodka may have been involved.
The Chanel has a fruity bouquet with hints of cherry and pomegranate, tastes much better than the Gucci.
Taking Hill 166 would be significant because it has fire control over Novoprokopivka to the west and Verbose to the east.
Ship this Nazi POS to Ukraine and let him rot in prison for the rest of his life.
Petrovsky was born in 1987 in Leningrad, but moved to Norway with his mother as a child. There, he joined the neo-Nazi anti-migrant group Soldiers of Odin, despite being a migrant himself. When Russia launched hostilities on Donbas, Petrovsky fought on the Russian side as part of the separatist Batman unit. Later he founded the 'Rusich' Sabotage Assault Reconnaissance Group with St. Petersburg neo-Nazi Alexey Milchakov.
They both first became known when they ambushed fighters from Ukraine's Aidar battalion and were photographed next to burning bodies of the soldiers. During the full-scale war, they called for Ukrainian children to be killed as they "grow up and avenge their parents" and glorified rape of Ukrainian women.
In this archive video, terrorist Yan Petrovsky who now calls himself Voislav Torden, and his friend, the sadist Milchakov, share how he personally killed six Ukrainians on September 5, 2014.
This is the anatomy of a major league Russian fuck up of an operation along the Dnipro River near Kherson, complete with troops going into the field with no radios and having to use cell phones to call in artillery strikes that mostly didn’t come. Then there was the commander who ordered an evacuation and got shit-canned and now there is an “investigation” with plenty of CYA.
The paragraph below that I bolded is particularly FUBAR.
Two companies (RF units) of the Russian 205th were ordered to conduct an amphibious crossing of the Konka river onto the island northwest of Kozachi Laheri (Image 1). Their orders were simple; eliminate the AFU landing force on the island.
Each company was comprised of 22 soldiers with one commander. They were instructed to conduct the crossing simultaneously in two group. However, they only had enough inflatable boats to move 15 soldiers from each company on the first crossing. The crossing was conducted without covering fire and they immediately started taking casualties from AFU mortar and small arms fire. Because of this, it was not until the next day that the remaining soldiers were able to cross and join up with their units.
They did not have radios and were not able to communicate the situation in real time. However, they were able to temporarily locate a cell signal and periodically transmit SITREP's and the coordinates of the AFU mortar and fire teams to their command.
Description of events form a 205th soldier:"
At one point, our artillery fired a couple of shots at them but to no avail. And, in general, it seemed that they did it only so they could later say they threw shells in the approximate direction, and according to the exact coordinates that we sent them.
The bird (UAV) hovered over the groups from the very beginning, and the carousel began (rotating UAVs all day). Due to the constant work of the enemy's birds, there was not a minute that they would leave the sky. Under its exact adjustments, the enemy's mortar crews continued to work in the group. Then the network (cell) was lost, well, at least sometimes a cellular connection appeared to convey the situation.
During the first day, half of the group was already 300 (wounded), the group commander reported this to everyone he could (up the chain). The battalion commander insisted on moving the group by 200 to 300 meters, but it would be pure suicide since by then since they had been able to dig single trenches with their bare hands where they hid from mortar fire.
The transition from this area to any other to an unprepared position was fraught with the complete destruction of the group due to the lack of engineering structures, and the bird constantly controlled them, even the smallest movement. Thus, the commander of the group made his decision to withdraw the remaining group from the island, thereby saving the lives of the rest of the team. Half of the group was 300, the group commander himself organized the withdrawal, the wounded of the neighboring unit were also taken away.
After that, all the command, starting from the Design Bureau and above, were very negative about such an act. They blamed everyone from the KR (commander) to our non-standard blashnik (possibly brigade support) who worked that day and were the only ones who provided at least some help to the group.
Now everything is developing in such a way that the KR has been removed from office, blashnikov is being frightened by a transfer on different fronts and an article for sabotage of the landing group, although this is ridiculous, completely absurd. At the moment, our battalion has been taken to Genichesk for 'restoration.'
Also, L/S do not always provide proper medical care, there are cases when fragments are not removed and a person is sent back to the front line, to the question of doctors 'why is that?' They answer 'an order from a higher authority.'"
Aftermath: According to the 205 Brigade's TG Channel, a "full" assistant to the Deputy Minister of Defense flew in this morning (Aug 26, 2023).
"The Brigade command is protecting itself (covering its ass) and they are standing by their decision to remove the assault team's commander from his post.
In addition, phones are being seized from the fighters as they are also looking for who leaked the story. And, they made a copy of the voicemail of one of the servicemen who tried to leave a message for help and have cut it up (edited it) and are now trying to charge him with sabotage.
The commander of the RGR (recon) platoon is moving ahead with a criminal case against the fighters who are being blamed for undermining the operation.
Here’s some more info:
Today they took the company commander (call sign Kizlyar) from the guys who went to the islands.
They took him to the hospital to be evaluated for allegations that he got nervous or went crazy.
It is reported that the Brigade Command e is putting pressure on the doctors to do what they need (to support that diagnosis).
"This is how Russia plays the game. The commander saved the lives of his men in an impossible situation but his team went outside of the club and made it public. To cover up the real culprits, the commander will be found crazy and the official reports and the media will report it as so.
That is why the "2nd Army of the World" is the "2nd Army in Ukraine."
Nice paint job.
Russia will go to great lengths to not have to send young men from Moscow and St. Petersburg and instead send disposables (i.e. non-Russians) from wherever they can find them.
This struck me as especially sad.
Ukrainian soldier gets the traditional birthday pie in the face.
She could deliver an ass whoopin’ to a real Russian.
