Rudy Guiliani is putting his luxury Upper East Side apartment on the market for $6.5 million. He originally purchased it in 2002 for “reportedly $4.8 million.” Sorry — I don’t have the resources to search for a listing in the MLS.
The financial pressure of the civil suits and criminal legal fees that Rudy is facing must be weighing heavily. Or maybe he is afraid of asset seizures as he moves into the liability phase of the Ruby Freeman and Wandrea Moss defamation suit that he recently admitted to. Rudy has said, to anyone who will listen, that the statements he made under oath were strictly a legal maneuver. I don’t whether a jury will look so positively on this move, made for the consumption of the media. I, fwiw, think he is going to get hit hard due to the very meanness and perversity of his actions he admitted to.
In a separate filing, Giuliani lawyer Joseph D. Sibley IV says Giuliani “does not admit to Plaintiffs’ allegations” and that his stipulation would short-circuit the need for more discovery in the case.

Giuliani is also facing civil suits by both Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic. He is facing a suit by Noelle Dunphy for sexual harassment and abuse and Daniel Gill of Staten Island for Giuliani’s claim that he was “assaulted” that led to a criminal charge, when it appears that he merely tapped him.
