I suppose that everyone is aware that Ukraine mounted another attack on the Russian navy yesterday. This time it was an attack on the shipyard in Sebastopol. They reportedly used either SCALP or Storm Shadow missiles (they are basically the same missile).
Russia, or course, shot down all incoming missiles (and there were a lot of them!) and also three drone boats which they claimed Ukraine also used in the attack. There was, they said, some minor damage to a large landing ship, the Minsk, and to a diesel-electric sub, the Rostov-on-Don.
Unfortunately for Russian credibility, we now can check for ourselves with satellite images. The image above is a capture from Denys Davidov’s Telegram channel. He captioned it “Boat & Ship, both kaputt.” I consider this a fair assessment of the situation. Davidov’s commentary is in-depth and interesting, and nearly always correct. As a bonus, I learned how to pronounce Andriivka and Novoprokopivka.
Denys also says that two other ships received minor damage. Those ships, by the way, were in dry dock. I figure that particular dry dock will be out of commission for a while.

P. S.: Davidov has just reported that Elon Musk is going to turn over command and control of the portion of Starlink which is relevant to Ukraine to the Pentagon.
