Wardroom
According to the Museum:
“It is here the ship’s officers gather with their fellow officers for moments of relaxation, such as a discussion of the daily problems, a movie, radio, TV, or just a game of acey-deucey over a cup of coffee. It is also here that the officers dine.”
According to the Museum:
“The day-to-day operation of the wardroom mess was under the supervision of the Wardroom Mess Caterer. He was responsible for the procurement, storage, preparation, and service of food in the mess.”
