NPR's Bob Edwards Has Died

He hosted NPR's Morning Edition for almost 25 years until being unceremoniously canned in 2004.

He was 76. The cause was apparently metastatic bladder cancer.

He was a talented journalist.

Morning Edition was a part of my life for many years. For years I sent (admittedly tiny) amounts of money to my local NPR station. I haven't sent another dime since he was sent packing. (Nor have I listened regularly.)
